What Is FRP?
Typically, when you have an FRP (fiberglass resin product), it is a mixture of a resin, fiberglass roving, and filler. Our fiberglass composites feature more resin and fiberglass and less filler. It gives us a stronger and more durable product that holds up longer under extreme conditions. There’s an entire array of testing that it has to go through. Specific gravity for weight savings, ballistics testing to see what it would look like after it was hit by munitions.
Our FRP also has an ultraviolet veil, so if the paint comes off, the sunlight doesn’t deteriorate the surface. Mold and bacteria growth can’t attack it.
